Check these three things before you top up a Haitian number

Most failed Haiti top-ups are not mysteries. They are one of three things. Read this once.

1. The operator

Digicel is not Natcom. People switch and forget to tell the diaspora. Before you pay on www.chatrefill.com, ask: Which network this month? If they send a photo of the SIM settings, even better. Wrong operator is the most expensive simple mistake.

2. The number

An extra zero. A missing digit. A WhatsApp-formatted number that looks complete and is not. Compare to a call log. Haiti numbers need fidelity, not creativity.

3. The product
